Responsibilities: Reviews action plans of the Neighborhood Revitalization and Economic Development Departments and other departments as related to the Housing and Neighborhood Plan; oversees implementation of the Housing and Neighborhood Plan, considers policy recommendations related to attracting new residents to Shaker Heights; preserving the City’s housing stock; maintaining neighborhoods; and growing business in the City; reviews proposed legislative actions related to economic development and housing referred to Council from the aforementioned departments.
