Our Work in 2025
Bay Village Chapter

Accomplishments of 2025 include:

• Hosted Bay Village School Levy forum
• Held essay contest for Champion of Democracy scholarships: 8 scholarships awarded at Bay High School; 4 scholarships awarded at Lincoln West High School
• Facilitated two "voter girl" and one "voter kid" sessions
• Voter Information Table at Bay Women's Vintage & Antique Show, BayArts Summer Market events and Bay Village Food Truck Fridays
• Continued sponsorship of a Bay Village girls softball team
• Voter Registration at Lincoln West High School Naturalization event
• Two letters to the editor published in local papers
  
• Collaboration with Key Club to distribute door hangers to every home in Bay Village with information for voters
  
• Planted "Vote" signs ahead of elections in the city limited of Bay Village
• Donation to Key Club for their fundraiser
• Spoke to Lincoln West high school students about "Voter Suppression" and "Gerrymandering"
• Installation of Bay Village LWV historical marker near Rose Hill Museum
• Co-hosted in-person/zoom forums for Rocky River Municipal Judicial Candidates 
• Hosted candidate forums for Bay Village Mayoral candidates and Ward 1 candidates
• Holiday party and suffragette trivia game night
